An award-winning inventor, innovator and consultant, Tor has worked within the construction industry around the world for 35 years specialising in innovative raw materials product development, environmental effects & controls and energy efficiencies for buildings. In that time he has assembled and refined what we believe to be the most universally useful process for managing the details of constructing efficiently, through the Integrated Design Process ©. Tor has been very fortunate to have had the opportunity to study many different building systems and learn from some of the brightest minds in the productivity industry. Tor is also a member of Business Green.
A proven Programme / Project Manager with over 20 years’ experience working for some of the world’s largest companies who has overseen multi-million pound IT projects. Companies include British Petroleum (BP), Hewlett Packard (HP), Centrica, ICAP/NEX, Serco, Unilever, Sopra Steria (working with the MOD / MOJ) and Bupa. He founded Mayfair Castle Ltd – a property development and investment company located in SW London whose main focus is on new build developments and commercial to residential conversions. In 2018 he was a finalist for the Property Investor Awards for his development The King’s Rest in Hampton Court Village.
Christina Hadfield (Maude)
The lead team Architect who works closely with Tor on sustainable buildings. Highly practical and organised, Christina delivers functional buildings which really work for their occupants without compromising on the delight to be found in appropriate aesthetics, materials and details. A keen observer of human behaviour and how it is affected by environment, her plans promote a relaxed and sociable living style, extending beyond the walls into the community; this is not compromised by paring space and specification down to the minimum, but by using the budget imaginatively.
Daniel manages site personnel and other team members whilst ensuring supply and demand for each specific project. With18 years of extensive experience in the right products and techniques for cutting, drilling and fixing the vast range of materials that occur on building sites. He contributes to more cost effective and time efficient methods on-site whilst also covering all matters renewables. Through learning about material properties, Dan’s fascination grows to learn more across the whole spectrum, from elements to environmental science, renewable energy solutions and building performance.
